Thanks for that advice. When you say this stomach holster (Im assuming you mean with all the extra mag attachments) draws unnecessary attention to me, do you mean compared to a more normal concealment setup? If so, then yeah I concur for sure. Most of my weapon stuff is built around at least the awa...

That's the thing. There were more than a handful of posts that provided logical suggestions, that weren't making fun of your kit, from guys with experience in all the situations you outlined, and more (except perhaps your beloved zombie fantasy). Even though you were given plenty of great informati...

Yeah, I know it wouldﳄ still be somewhat obvious to experienced carriers that I was carrying if I wore this vest in the aforementioned special public cases (in the outdoors, or public crises). However, in those cases I am not worried about other CCers, but am instead worried about antigun citizens...

Oh, and here's a big one I forgot to mention. This is one of the best places to holster a suppressed handgun: With it on my belt, if I were to crouch or sit, the muzzle is in the ground. Not to mention pulling it strait up on my strong side would require me to draw the gun almost into my armpit, whi...

I know Tactical Inc makes their .223 take-apart can that is rated for full-auto. It is a bit heavy compared to .22 cans, but would easily work on a rifle if one so desired.

Whose Maser? *edit* Oh, I remember another couple reasons why I have always liked stomach carry: falling on it hurts the least compared to the (my) bony hip or the side of the rib cage (shoulder holster)! And it is the most comfortable and accessible carry position (of those) to utilize while operat...

Sorry, I don't think you guys are understanding where I'm coming from. 1) This is not about general concealed carry. For daily use, my current pistol and holster combo is not a problem and is both adequately comfortable and completely concealed. 2) For active use, NOT for general concealed carry , I...

NO offense intended but WOW. :? Taking offense to what someone says on the internet would be silly :) . Though im curious which part you find so shocking :) . I have tried a shoulder holster and I didn't like it very much. Access was slower and more cumbersome, and it was much more pronounced under...

of course a 1911 is the way to go...Glocks explode! My buddy from two towns over had a plastic pistol and it raped his wife. Only terrorists use those types of guns to get them through airport security. GODDAMNT - I SPILLED BEER ALL OVER MY NEW CAMO PANTS! How dare you question my vast wisdom of fi...

eOk, here it is lying on the ground. It is made of doubled-up black felt. The belt was an old heavy nylon shell belt, which I cleared of the elastic loops and sewed to the felt backing. I left the muzzle end open to accomodate a future can :) . I had to buy the $8 worth of material, but I already ha...

I have given it some thought, but it was just enough to realize how many options I have, heh. I'd really like to stay with 9mm for the obvious ammo compatability, but I would have to go to the larger end to maintain good control (Taurus Slim, Glock 26, etc). I could go the tiny .32acp route, but tho...

To answer your question, sorry I don't know of any. And California... the only thing good about California is it tends to attract all the pansie Liberals to one place. It's kind of like throwing Chum into the deep ocean so you could swim more peacefully in the bay. Since it's politically incorrect t...

Ooh then yeah, the only way the cop was likely to survive that was to act on his words. Mechanic, further identifying the victim makes it even sadder :( . But, at the same time it drives home the point that he was a real human being in a real situation, and did not act in a way that would have easil...
