Yes, it can be legal to make a silencer. For everything Form-1, from silencer designs that are easily made, to filing forms with the BATF, to 3D modeling. Remember, you must have an approved BATF Form-1 to make a silencer. All NFA laws apply.

Does anyone know a good place to buy parts kits? It seems like everything on akbuilder is out of stock.

Specifically, I'm looking for an ak pistol kit, or just a good selection of pistol kits in general.

I have several parts kits. I am not interested in selling any but they all can be traded.
What I have
Complete Rommy G kit with original barrel
PPSH 41 complete with orginal barrel, drum mag, and receiver repair piece
PPS 43, complete with original barrel, cleaning kit, and mags
Beretta 38 A, complete kit with all parts necessary for semi build
Box of AR stripped receivers

What I want
AR upper in 5.45 x 39
Beretta M9 or 92FS

Ak-builder has Amd 65 back in stock. It has 12.5" barrel.
