I find myself in Arlington again and see the neatly trimmed lawn the headstones all laid out in perfect symmetry like a army waiting for marching orders and eager to join the fight. You hear the sound of taps in the background and the site of the color guard escorting a young family to bury their honored dead. I bow my head in remembering these men and women as I have known as friend and father and think that the earth turns a little slower today with them gone.
Take a moment today and remember them as they were giants that gave it all for us.

They were Giants
The only reason after 243 years the government now wants to disarm you is they intend to do something you would shoot them for!

I would salute if I had earned it but I never had the privilege of serving.
I can only offer my deepest thanks and respect to all who have served and sacrificed.

I have been to Arlington National Cemetery twice in the last 6 months. You are a different person when you leave. We take life for granted so much but after a trip to Arlington life seems different, even before you leave something comes over you that words cannot express. It takes a while to smile again after every trip. You pray for all but it just dose not seem enough for what these men and women have given us and this country. Crow hop. Sometimes i use my Native American Given name
