K Baffle Design (by 16 year old)

Yes, it can be legal to make a silencer. For everything Form-1, from silencer designs that are easily made, to filing forms with the BATF, to 3D modeling. Remember, you must have an approved BATF Form-1 to make a silencer. All NFA laws apply.

I plan to add a suppressor design to this AR (It will probably be the .223 Titan). I can't wait too see how it turns out :D

I just made that rail today, so I need to make a mounting system for it.

Sorry, but the BCG is not up for grabs.

Edit: The Receivers are from www.cncguns.com, and the BCG was from

someone else. I found AutoCAD blueprints of the AR Lower and *.pdf

blueprints of the A3 Upper. I'm working on making my own models so I

can mod them easier with the *.sldprt files (both are about 3/4 done). I

can never find any blueprints for the BCG so I guess I got a reverse

engineered version (VERY accurate) This guy also has the FCG which is

great. Even so, I hope to get somewhere after I graduate :D

Big salute to this little nerd. (paco ramirez)

He is a man of my head, yes i say man, because someone with his guts, knowledge and skills will allways have my deepest respect.

I sure hope he will stick to this trade, and as far as i know, he will newer gets unemployed, because there is such a huge lack of 3D and CAD-designers. Anyway in Europe its like this. After i started 3D modelling several years ago, i have barely had time for vacations and holidays.
But what the heck, it is well payed.

So guys give him all the support he will ever need.

Hey Paco!
Good work man. U have good skills. Keep doing what you're doing because you've made some impressive work. I also wanted to ask. Do you have any designs for a 7.62x39 to be used on an AK47 or for a 7.65x17 browning to be used on a Walther? I'm trying to build these 2 cans for my guns.

Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the kind words guys :D I would like to stick to what I'm doing, and probably go to some gunsmithing school, maybe move to the CA/ NV border and see whats going on over there. If I can't find anything there, AZ is next on the list of places to check out, then Colorado. I've heard Colorado has some of the best gunsmithing schools in the U.S. My dad might get an 08 SOT, so that would be really fun .

GeorgGearlos: PM reply incoming.

endri12345: I could always just make one specifically for an AK. I already have a .30 model made, I just gotta find it  I've never heard of the 7.65x17 Browning, but I'll check out wikipedia.

I'm still working on the contact point weld holes, but tell me how you guys like the new .223 TiTan tube and core on the AR 20"

Paco the 7.65x17 browning is what here in europe call the .32 caliber for small pistols. Thanks

Thanks a lot man. One more thing. I don't have access to a cnc lathe so I hope your projects can be done on a manual one.
Thanks. Appreciate your help a lot.

Just finished designing your can today, Henry.

Here are a couple pics of .32 ACP "Labyrinth" (I am running out of name ideas  )

I'm currently working on improving this one, a hearing safe .50, and trying to find that .30 Cal Titan file... it was a long day :D

Thanks Josh!
Thanks for taking the time. U're great. I was wondering: Is this porting good or are slanted walls porting(tac 67) better. Just curious because I've never tried this porting.

Thanks again

deltam9da, my computer wont show the pics you posted for some reason :?

I'm going to put in slanted sidewalls. I've been sick the last two days, but I

put in locking tabs to keeps the slanted sidewalls in line. I think this porting could work good because there is only one way the gases can escape after they get in that cavity.

titan 30

Post by paco ramirez »

Yay, I'm finally feeling better :D

The .30 cal Titan was just redone so I'll send it to those who wanted it tonight. I haven't scaled this one down for AK yet.

This is a picture of a new design .30 cal can. This isn't the new Titan though. I guess these would be considered Omega Baffles :?:

Length: 8.85"

Width: 1.64"

I might rework the tube to thicken the blast chamber area. Other than that it can be built on a CNC mill/lathe best. It has three chamber separator tabs per baffle (1 chamber per slot). AR15 DIAS was fun to turn into a solidmodel :D
