Well well well. After having the stamped form 1 back for 8 months now I finally got some time to design and build this one. After my first one (.22lr linked below), I decided to go a bit easier with this one.

It's all 316 stainless except for the 17-4ph stainless blast baffle. One unique thing I did with this one is I made the threaded end cap both 1/2"-28 and 7/8"-28 threaded. Why you ask? Well, I want to run it on my Savage LRPV that is chambered in .204 Ruger. I didn't want to turn the 1" od barrel down to 1/2" and lose my nice recessed target crown.
I've actually never even heard a suppressed .223 before so I wasn't exactly sure what to expect. Seems about on par with what I've heard others explain it to be. The crappy iPhone video probably doesn't do it much justice. I'll try to get some more videos. I'm waiting to get some headspace gauges before I shoot it on the .204.

Slick. Nice work. Any particular reason you didn't weld it? What does it weigh?

Very very nice. Looks well beyond hobbyist level as you clearly have a great understand of CNC programming and operation.

Nicely done, the dual thread mount unique.

The only reason after 243 years the government now wants to disarm you is they intend to do something you would shoot them for!

I love the dual thread idea, but I can't help but be fearful that the smaller threads out front would take a serious beating from muzzle blast. Internal thread protector maybe?

Exactly my thoughts too. I'm planning on machining basically a bushing and maybe broach a hex in it to be able to remove with an Allen wrench.Dr.K wrote:I love the dual thread idea, but I can't help but be fearful that the smaller threads out front would take a serious beating from muzzle blast. Nice work.... how does it sound
Of all the things I've lost it's my mind I miss the most

Careful pretty sure a removable bushing that goes inside the suppressor is a silencer part. If you remove it you could end up with an extra part, outside of the can. A clever soloution might be a internal storage space for the protector when it's not in use. I could also be way off base as I am a total noob.

Also your cans are well...I don't even know what to say. It's freaking art man. Amazing.
