Now available DIY felony kit

Yes, it can be legal to make a silencer. For everything Form-1, from silencer designs that are easily made, to filing forms with the BATF, to 3D modeling. Remember, you must have an approved BATF Form-1 to make a silencer. All NFA laws apply.

I purchased a "cleaning kit" from preppersdiscount.com for about 100 bucks. I called them first and they were really cool and very informative. They are the manufacturer and seem pretty big time. Clearly they are walking the line but they were clear that these are not silencers...they probably have to cover their ass. Anyway, I also bought something similar at SD Tactical.com. SD's stuff is not as nice and really much cheaper made. Also they have NEVER answered the phone after 5 or 6 times I've tried. I don't dispute that both these guys are questionable in what they sell but I think its important to understand that IN MY EYES I'm not doing anything illegal and have purchased nothing illegal. Besides they have to bust down my door to search my entire house to see "IF" I have done something wrong or own something illegal. GOOD LUCK WITH THAT!

Looks like more expensive (reselling?) versions of the SD Tacticals Arms stuff (http://www.sdtacticalarms.com/Hardware_c_8.html). I think SD Tactical Arms is the original, but doesn't put together a kit like that.

I like the preppers discount stuff better. Nicer designs and more to choose from. SD not as good quality and much less selection....At least that's what I think.
