I was watching a video earlier about the Salvo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VoDMsSC1nSI Towards the end the were talking about how you can adjust the length of the supressor by removing baffles and some of the rods to make it shorter or the original size. What I'm wondering is could this correspond to making your own supressor? My understanding was when you made it you could not have it be a variable length. I know you can not have extra parts and that's a big no no. This got me wondering though with designs like the tubeless design for example. http://www.silencertalk.com/forum3/view ... 10&t=73267 How would these two be different legally since they are both going to have a specified length and certain parts for the original length and configuration. Perhaps I am just thinking about this the wrong way but if I'm not perhaps this opens up another avenue of options for some people on what they would want to build.

Very cool. Can't wait to see one in person.

I thought I read someone on this board that changing the length was not allowed. I guess it is after all? Something about leftover suppressor parts needing a separate stamp I think...?

Looks like these guys are doing it too.

There was a discussion on this here a while ago, I cant find it now but what it comes down to is the parts that interchange are classified as not being suppressor parts just accessories but in my opinion good luck getting this ok'd on a form 1.
