Integral Can question
What do you use for the overall length of the suppressor? The OAL of the gun? The OAL of the tube?

The answer to that depend on what gun type and what caliber.

Sorry, I didn't specify. I don't mean as a design consideration. I mean, what do you measure to determine OAL to put on the Form 1.
Re: Integral Can question
What's the longest part? Is the integral suppressor a permanent part of the barrel? If so, the overall barrel length or tube length whichever is longer.

Ok, that makes sense.CMV wrote:What's the longest part? Is the integral suppressor a permanent part of the barrel? If so, the overall barrel length or tube length whichever is longer.
What would define removable? I'm picturing a ported barrel, with baffles that would be part of the tube assembly and when removed, the firearm would function with a ported barrel. Would that then be the length of the tube+caps?

Re: Integral Can question
If you can remove the tube then it would be considered removable and would also not qualify towards the OAL of the rifle to avoid SBR status.Kuraki wrote:Ok, that makes sense.CMV wrote:What's the longest part? Re: Integral Can question
Understood.
Thank you.
Thank you.

From the breech face to the furthest permanently attached point on the barrel is your OAL. If the tube is permanently attached than that would be your measurement.
