Form 1 5.56 can--first stages of design questions

Yes, it can be legal to make a silencer. For everything Form-1, from silencer designs that are easily made, to filing forms with the BATF, to 3D modeling. Remember, you must have an approved BATF Form-1 to make a silencer. All NFA laws apply.

The 7 holes on the face of the end cap are for a spanner wrench to disassemble the silencer.

Hello noscoe30,

Very nice work, and drawings too. Any updates on it... pics, videos, test results?

I received my approved Form 1 for a 30 cal suppressor a couple weeks ago, and I'm planning on using the Saker 51T mount also, so I'm very interested in your project. Thanks.

Any ideas of the durability of a full 17-4 h900 build?
