I am almost done with this can. It is completely 316 stainless and to be welded up shortly. These are just simple K-baffles with simple ports. Dimensions are 1" OD and 6.5" long. Baffles are 0.050" thick except for the first which is 0.075". Tube is 0.035" wall. I know people like pictures so here ya go.

With the 50/50 dip mixture I saw no reason to make this one take apart. I cut about 1/5 the mass outta it by thinning the tube to 0.035 and not needing thr extra material for threads.

Re: F1 22LR K-baffle can
Your sealed can will double in weight in no time. My Ti .22lr k-baffle wonder gets really, really dirty and can be hard to take apart sometimes after a lot of rounds. I use baking soda to blast it all clean and good to go for another 200 or 300 rounds. I usually take it apart just to shake out all of the crud in there between blasting episodes.
If you are sealed some of the the gunk, lead, etc is not coming out by dipping it.
I think sealed would be fine for a rifle can, but not rimfire....not a good idea. IMHO.

Thank you Delta. I've seen first hand how well the dip works. Not worried at all about this can filing up.

Nice build should be plenty quiet.
The only reason after 243 years the government now wants to disarm you is they intend to do something you would shoot them for!

Well done, sir.
More than 5.5" long, Tsk, Tsk ... some 'experts' will recoil in disgust.
Again, nice job. Tell us how it 'doesn't' sound.
Best.

Haha Yea it's a little longer than some but I figured why not. I submitted the F1 for 6.5" might as well use all of it. Lol.
