Yes, it can be legal to make a silencer. For everything Form-1, from silencer designs that are easily made, to filing forms with the BATF, to 3D modeling. Remember, you must have an approved BATF Form-1 to make a silencer. All NFA laws apply.

Gents,

Found the following online.

They mention that the patent is done.

I did think AAC had a patent for silencers for piston operated silencers.
Also Arms Tech has a patent for a combined gasblock / silencer module. I know its not th same but one can see where this comes from.

The porting on those K's look way too small.

I figured the high pressure gases would benefit from the small holes.
Wouldn't they also help keep some back-pressure for the gas system?
