Has anyone used Onshape CAD yet?

Yes, it can be legal to make a silencer. For everything Form-1, from silencer designs that are easily made, to filing forms with the BATF, to 3D modeling. Remember, you must have an approved BATF Form-1 to make a silencer. All NFA laws apply.

Has anyone used Onshape CAD yet?

This tool looks very useful to our group.

1. It has a free option that only limits the number of active designs.
2. Online collaboration.
3. Import/Export of many 2D and 3D formats.

I have no connection to them other than I'm testing the free option and working my way thru the tutorials. www dot onshape dot com

I use it a lot for personal stuff, and I love it.

I use SolidWorks professionally, and I hope OnShape continues to mature because I think it could be very competitive in the future.

Minnesota has a crack at legalizing suppressors this legislative session if our governor doesn't screw it up. I've been designing what will become my first form 1 in OnShape.

I just added a topic with a rendering of the design I did in OnShape. If anyone is interested, look here:
