K baffle general questions

Yes, it can be legal to make a silencer. For everything Form-1, from silencer designs that are easily made, to filing forms with the BATF, to 3D modeling. Remember, you must have an approved BATF Form-1 to make a silencer. All NFA laws apply.

K baffle general questions

My search-fu is a bit off. I seem to recall a post quite some time ago referencing the concentric depressions adjacent the bore in the plate of the K baffle. I believe Bender had indicated at the time that these depressions do increase overall performance of the baffle. I cannot locate that post. I am curious if they make that much of a difference in a .22lr sized project. I also seem to recall some builders having better result with a larger bore diameter than a tighter one (.250) is there any consensus to this?

He most likely was referring to the kidney bean cuts on the Tirant baffles.
The only reason after 243 years the government now wants to disarm you is they intend to do something you would shoot them for!
