"Someone" should crack down on this.
Legal for its intended use, but we all know what the "other" nefarious use is.

No one "should" crack down on it.

It should be every bit as legal as a plumbing ferrule.

Unless you are illegally manufacturing something you need approval for its legal as is.

+3!

If possible misuse is the driving criterion for criminalizing
then curtail First Amendment (e.g., NY Times distortions and
fabrications for the 'liar, liar, pantsuit on fire' are grounds for censoring).

And most assuredly 'Silencer Talk' which has myriads of information that could be misused,
just look at all Hollywood movie gangsters suppressor usage,
should be renamed 'Silencer Silence'. :) :)

Speaking about 'pantsuit on fire', she had announced to the cheers of socialists
that when she is President she will erupt with executive actions on her own to
wither firearms availabilty.

That is awesome.

I ordered three in different sizes, getting them modified as fuel filters.

You raise an interesting point in the context of the possible removal of
suppressors from the NFA list. How will smithing one's own can be
affected when kit parts are available?

Now it is permission, stamp,
machine, stamp some number, and clear sailing.

This eBay seller could be inundated with sales.

How is selling these any different then SDTA selling their parts? I see nothing wrong with it. It's up to the user to make the legal actions. On a side note anyone actually tried these in a can?

No, no one needs to crack down on anything. Those are perfectly legal.

Maybe you should write the ATF a letter and discuss it with them at length and see if they can be banned.

Congress is trying to do something about this. "The Hearing Protection Act"

Best Answer!

Finally, a waterproof, O-ring sealed diving tube! Now I can make a suppressor for my C02 powered speargun! Can't seem to find many underwater, gas powered, speargun suppressor designs. ( Wow, someone is missing out on a major market in covert spear fishing!) I will have to send off a Form 1 to King Neptune....

That's funny, both companies in OP's link have very similar pics. Must be a coincidence right?

Don't worry, when the ATF says they are illegal they can go to Amazon and collect the customer list.
