Form 1 first timer!

Yes, it can be legal to make a silencer. For everything Form-1, from silencer designs that are easily made, to filing forms with the BATF, to 3D modeling. Remember, you must have an approved BATF Form-1 to make a silencer. All NFA laws apply.

Form 1 first timer!

Post by SFCCHANCE »

-Set up my trust
-I registered on eforms
-I filled out a form 1 for suppressor build
-I paid the 200 dollar tax
-I received several emails from ATF, last one says pending approval.

Is there anything else I need to do other than wait for stamp?

I think I just gonna wait till stamp comes back before buying anything. The other day online I saw a titanium can kit, it had flash suppressor and attachment caps and a tube. But I can't find it today or remember the name. Any body know what it's called? Anyway Im either gonna go kit route or just fab one myself, I have lathe and a dynasty 200DX!

this is illegal if you listen to all of the batf supporters on this site.

otherwise carry-on and wait for approval to come across.

Nothing wrong with figuring out your design or ordering raw material........ordering a solvent trap kit might get you in a problem area.

If it is legal to sell it should be legal to own, though I could see how that purchase coupled with pending paperwork would be an easy way to prove intent.
