Form 1 filed 2-27-16 for a suppressor. Another filed 2-28-2016 for a suppressor. Nothing in either case. These where thru a Trust. My normal approval time ran 90 days plus a week or two. Are they overwhelmed with applications because of the rule change. I wanted to get ahead of the change because there are seven individuals in the Trust and the hassle under the new rules. Any future applications will either be as an individual or with a smaller trust.

My first form 1 for an SBR was submitted 2/15/16 and approved 7/26/16, so you've probably got a few weeks still, maybe a bit more. Per NFATracker, Form 1 Trust submittals that were e-filed were running about 60 days when I submitted. I think wait time has been increasing since before I submitted.

My form 1 I got back in june took 5 months as well, almost 6...like a few days short of 6. I'm gonna wait a little while before I do another one, I need the cash right now for impulse buying before the elections. I'm building a few AR's as gifts this year for democrat friends so I'm stressed for cash.

It looks like they're doing items e-filed in the teens of February, as of now.

yeah, my friends are kinda an exclusive group, mostly made up of people I have been in firefights with, climbed mountains with, forded rivers with or had my back while in extended car chases with them. Its hard to join the group and theres only one way out...

I e-filed 2 back in May, was trying to beat the rush.

Read the thread, it is a follow up on the whole thread... I'm putting together a bunch of pistols as gifts then having the new owners fill out form 1's, the person I was responding to asked to be my friend as a light hearted joke or Quip.


not sure if you should play the heel with 38 posts in this forum, it never turns out right. We're a friendly group here. That tense stuff goes on other boards, not here. try ar-15.com next time. this is the no stress board. Damn Infantry guys gotta try to screw it up for everyone.

no worries, we try to stay positive here, its hard to get used to if your coming from other boards but I think you'll see that its a better environment. Most people on here do this as a business or get very involved in one of the most expensive stamp collecting clubs in the US.
