WTF item of the week!

Yes, it can be legal to make a silencer. For everything Form-1, from silencer designs that are easily made, to filing forms with the BATF, to 3D modeling. Remember, you must have an approved BATF Form-1 to make a silencer. All NFA laws apply.

I would like to congratulate Tony M for posting the WTF item of the week!

This looks familiar but can't place it.

Identify this item then top it!

I'm going with a locomotive key.
I believe I remember seeing those in my cousin's collection.

Now top it!

Ah, Good Captain ... a Rorschach test for suppressor aficionados

My first guess that it was the key that unlocked the chastity belt of
the imprisoned queen in the 'Game of Thrones'. :) :)

A dirty mind is a terrible thing not to use.

What a wonderful day it will be when the Universe
locks the minds of our esteemed Legislators to finally pass the HPA,
finally making moot the discussions of 'how many baffles can legally dance on pin-heads',
or some such variation of the Middle Ages time wasters.

The 1st photo shows a smooth bowling-pin shape covered w scaley overlay. The background appears to be a paper towel.

So somehow a manufactured part covered w pewter or lead. Something very tiny though.

If anyone is a 3gun shooter look around the 40-50 yd steel target, I've found several like this one. When the shot gun slug hits the steel at the proper distance, when the slug is flattening the center pops out away from the target
Most never formed the drop or the drop pops off.

Guess we need to call the slow-mo guys!

Here is my submission and I can guarantee with almost 100% certainty you won't get it :) Ignore the clock as that was only a recent addition to make it into a piece of modern art for our office.

Looks like a revolver ammo. Such a strange base!
More likely an AOW cartidge for a pingun, etc.
You'll have to post what firearm it fits or we'll never get it in 30days.
