Griffin taper mount dimensions ?

Yes, it can be legal to make a silencer. For everything Form-1, from silencer designs that are easily made, to filing forms with the BATF, to 3D modeling. Remember, you must have an approved BATF Form-1 to make a silencer. All NFA laws apply.

Griffin taper mount dimensions ?

Post by cdrissel »

I need the dimensions to make a reflex/OTB brake.

Anyone know the diameter/TPI and the geometry of the tapered section ?

Yes I did and it locks up so tight I had to red loctite my end cap to keep it from unscrewing

I would have used rockset vs loctite... but a drop of Fireclean (or veggy oil) on the threads of the brake or adapter the can will stay on firm while shooting but still come off when hot.

Good tip. Thank you. I agree on the rockset too but went with what I had on hand for the time being.
