Informing BATFE when Adding Co-trustee's onto Trust

Yes, it can be legal to make a silencer. For everything Form-1, from silencer designs that are easily made, to filing forms with the BATF, to 3D modeling. Remember, you must have an approved BATF Form-1 to make a silencer. All NFA laws apply.

Informing BATFE when Adding Co-trustee's onto Trust

Post by wabbithunter »

Do I need/have to inform BATFE when I'm adding Co-trustee's onto Trust?, Planning on doing this before the (41F) July 13 2016 deadline.
Once again any information on this issue, is greatly appreciated.

Thank's;

You will be informing them when you submit an application to make or register a firearm (Form 1 or 4) and attach your trust document.
You do not need to send an "update" package, if you are not filing.

Disclaimer: I don't have or use a trust

From everything I have read, you only need to inform them if there is a change while something is in process.

Meaning between submitting a form and receiving the approved/disapproved form back
