Yes, it can be legal to make a silencer. For everything Form-1, from silencer designs that are easily made, to filing forms with the BATF, to 3D modeling. Remember, you must have an approved BATF Form-1 to make a silencer. All NFA laws apply.

I was wondering what kind of booster/ Nielson device you guys that have been there done that used. I plan to suppress a Glock model 30(45acp), a cz scorpion (9mm)odd 18mmx1thread, eventually maybe a FN FNX-45, and I'm sure if I get a can my buddy will find a threaded barrel for his 9mm glock. I am hoping for a booster that has the necessary pistons available for both thread pitches.
Those convinced against their will are of the same opinion still.
