Back to Past: Shaper

Yes, it can be legal to make a silencer. For everything Form-1, from silencer designs that are easily made, to filing forms with the BATF, to 3D modeling. Remember, you must have an approved BATF Form-1 to make a silencer. All NFA laws apply.

In my dream shop I will have a shaper. Coolest tool possible.

On eBay there is a "..Vintage Ammco 7" Precision Metal Shaper With Original Portable Cabinet ".

Now if it was priced 'reasonably' .... :) :)

Yeah, a beautiful piece. I remember reading as a kid about some gun writer touring the Winchester plant and seeing model 70s quietly being created by rows of shapers. Probably why they were too expensive to make that way... Point is, I love how quiet they are. Mostly a hum and a ZZZZZ noise.
