Very cool. I have a bolt action 410 that I never use because it isn't really good for much as it is. Something like this would turn it into a sort of lawn and garden DeLisle.

Can we please get a video soon so we can hear how it sounds.

Also looking forward to seeing how you plan to attach the handguard.

I will try to get a quick video sorted out soon. No hand guard required, the outer can is 3mm (about 1/8") thick Al and 1 1/2" diameter so works as a hold.

One guy wants a rail on the tube for a torch etc, so we can sort that out.

Cheers

Glad to see you got it all sorted out, nice work.
A couple Q's.
-What is the unfinished Al tubing for?
-In the 3rd pic, is that a witness mark or peen? If either, what's the purpose?

Pretty sure the little mark is for making sure the front bead sight is perfectly aligned, as it's a threaded tube mounted to the receiver. What I'm not so sure about is how one maintains that alignment - Loc-tite perhaps? But I bet those threads get fairly warm, being right next to the hottest chamber in the integral can, so perhaps Rockset? Or maybe a grub screw which isn't shown... But then there's no need for a witness mark, so I guess not.

All makes sense now.

Enfield,
Just a thought. If you haven't gone into production, I think you could do away w/ the unfinished Al tube. Make the Barrel's threaded Bushing/Trunnion about an inch longer. Then, relieve the first portion of the threads, that inch, to a bit smaller than the first spacer tubes ID. It would allow the first spacer tube to stay centered whilst filling with rivets. No need to make another part or have the customer thread/unthread the unfinished "holder" tube.

Just a thought

I figured Enfield did it to protect intellectual property?

That might be right as he is selling these, there.

I fully understand that.

Nope. It's alien abduction. The little green bastards took his posts and they are probing them as we speak.

You got it spot on, I was approached for a BIG order so checked out the patent thing, decided not to go that way and keep it as paying hobby/small sideline at this stage.

If anyone the details of the gun I am happy to re-post photos etc.

Best to all
