Does anyone know the Silencerco Omega 9k/Octane tube thread pattern?

Yes, it can be legal to make a silencer. For everything Form-1, from silencer designs that are easily made, to filing forms with the BATF, to 3D modeling. Remember, you must have an approved BATF Form-1 to make a silencer. All NFA laws apply.

Does anyone know the Silencerco Omega 9k/Octane tube thread pattern? It’s the same pattern used by Griffin on the Revolution 9. I think it’s either 1 1/4x28 or 1 1/8x28.

I don't know it and don't have one here to measure, but just use a thread pitch gauge and then measure the ID of the thread minor diameter and add the double depth of the pitch. 28 pitch is .046" double depth.

Am I misreading the instructions, or is the math wrong? I would think 28 * 2 would be 0.056" depth.

.046" is the DD of a sharp 60* thread, for a "B" class thread (female). The actual depth to the Dmaj (where the "A" crest equals P/8) should be .0193"
.054" is the DD of a sharp 60* thread, for an "A" class thread (male). The actual depth to the Dmin (where the "B" crest equals P/4) should be .0193" (equal to the mating thread)
