270 win

Yes, it can be legal to make a silencer. For everything Form-1, from silencer designs that are easily made, to filing forms with the BATF, to 3D modeling. Remember, you must have an approved BATF Form-1 to make a silencer. All NFA laws apply.

Welcome aboard. Now, if you can't even be bothered to put together a coherent post with your query, building a suppressor that requires infinitely more patience and commitment isn't gonna happen. We're happy to help, but you must demonstrate a willingness to put in effort that extends at least to proofreading a post to make sure it doen't contain mispelled words from another language which make no sense in the context anyway.

Try again.

How do you know English is even his first language? He is a new member and this was his first post. Something along the lines of 'Welcome to the board' and 'we will need more information about your rifle, its usage, and your technical abilities/available machinery etc. before we can make any real recommendations'.

So... Welcome to the board. We would be glad to help you with your decision if you give us more information about the rifle and if you have the ability and machinery to make your own components, or will you be sourcing do-it-yourself solvent trap parts to repurpose into a silencer.

I have no tolerance for laziness or apathy.

For rifle cans many people here have gone with 60 degree cone shaped baffles and some kind of spacer.

You can rummage around in Wicked's Form 1 Builds thread linked in my signature to get quite a few ideas.

For higher pressure supersonic rounds in .270 Winchester the traditional 60* cones would typically be used. There is a newer hybrid cone called the RSC (Rusty's Service Cone) that was developed by a fellow on another board that I am a member of. I've used both 60* cones and the RSC on several .30 caliber hosts, and find the RSC performs better in every application. I'm sure Rusty has done some .270 cans with the RSC and could provide more information.

If you are interested, search for RSC on Form 1 Suppressor.

It's not anywhere near the first time we've seen this here.

It's pretty impressive how many people from different countries find this place and do the work to parse through the poor English in some of the posts for which it's the first language of the poster.
