So after my F1 was approved I came up with this can design to be used on a 16” 6.8spc AR, 16” Remmy 300blkout(subs/supers) and maybe a 20” Remmy 308(subs/supers). The first and last cups won’t be clipped, the rest of the cups will be DHC clipped. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Place another cone against the far endcap.
There is no reason to have all of that deadspace in the low pressure zone. Also, no reason to not clip that last cone. The bullet will be long gone by the time that the gasses get to that point.

Re: F1 30cal can
Be careful to not let a cone sit in the threaded area if the skirt is short enough to allow it to move side to side in the tube.

Re: F1 30cal can
Yes, be sure that the last cone seats just BELOW (flush with) the threaded area once it settles.
Another option, would be to reduce OD and let it seat INSIDE of the endcap.
Have you considered using a spring to allow the cones to all slide .50" FORWARD during the firing sequence?
My parts for a "Solvent Trap" should be here soon. It's only for a 1"OD x 6"L, so only enough volume for a .22lr. So not enough pressure to allow a proper cycle. I WISH that I could insert one in my 300 RUM can, but it is sealed and I don't think that BATFE allows adding to the can after it's finished.
This is a Theory that I've long held, and there are some Patents that display this feature. Hopefully you could try it out and let us know if it helps improve the db or Tone of the exhaust.
You could even use a 2"L spring at the front, rather than the 2"L spacer at the rear. This would allow the stack to cycle and should act like a balloon expanding to trap the high pressure gas and then release it at the lower pressure.
Hopefully Capt Link will chime in and let us know. He has extensively tested many Concepts to verify their validity.
