1.372” cones

Yes, it can be legal to make a silencer. For everything Form-1, from silencer designs that are easily made, to filing forms with the BATF, to 3D modeling. Remember, you must have an approved BATF Form-1 to make a silencer. All NFA laws apply.

1.372” cones

Post by daveog »

Does anyone know where I can get SS and Ti 60 degree cones with an OD of 1.372? I’ve tried zmachineworx, aka Cerberus, and they said they couldn’t help me. DM won’t answer any communication attempts, and aegis appears to be out of business. Any suggestions?

What's wrong with them? I just bought a set and seem really well made, do you know of any better options? Like, what the guy is asking?

Super Precision Concepts has some 1.372'' but I am unsure if they are 60 degree.

Check the form1 suppressor boards vendor list and look for oksignguy. They just started making 17-4 SS heat treated 60 degree cones. Just ordered 11 of them myself and should see next week sometime.

They're glorified freeze plugs, nothing special. Can they be used to suppress a firearm, yes. Are they the best option available, no.
There are many suppliers of solvent trap "cups".
The guys over at the form1boards just did a custom group buy for 1.374" (IIRC) 60deg cones.

Check out the form1builders forum and look for oksignguy. They are selling 1.372 17-4 SS heat treated 60 degree cones. I just picked up 11 @ around $22 each.
