New Hi Standard

Yes, it can be legal to make a silencer. For everything Form-1, from silencer designs that are easily made, to filing forms with the BATF, to 3D modeling. Remember, you must have an approved BATF Form-1 to make a silencer. All NFA laws apply.

New Hi Standard

Post by YugoRPK »

Picked this one up a few months ago to build a sort of integral on. Its really a screw on but its configure like an integral with the sight on the tube. Finished up rust bluing the silencer today . Turned out good. 3" barrel, quiet bore K baffles, 7 3/4" 4340 tube and ends.

Kudos, Sir!!

Nice work. Thank you for sharing and
brightening up our day.

I long ago had a Hi Standard HD Military .22 Pistol. Its take down
had to be done carefully else it would jam. Like the Nambu
which had more springs to fly around.

In contrast, 1965 Smith & Wesson 41 has been as
effortless to take down as Walther PPK. And replacement
barrels like the magnificent Ray-Vin Bully Barrel
makes it the 'Bentley Azure of Rimfires'.

Again, compliments. Please post video of its
sound signature when convenient.

Best.

Sir, my sincere admiration for your excellent taste in .22s.

Those lucky enough to have been blessed in acquiring
an S&W 41 Bully Barrel with its 1:8 twist (stabilizes the Aguila 65 'fatties')
before the esteem Ray retired experience rare firearms perfection.

For those who wish to see how that magnificent piece of metal
'porn' was made feast on:

Adding a set of Randall Fung Match Grips* to a 1965 ... and later of course ...
perfect fitting on a S&W 41 turns it into a small carbine hand held.

Congratulations and thank you for showing.

Best.
