Identifying Tungsten Carbide Threading Inserts

Yes, it can be legal to make a silencer. For everything Form-1, from silencer designs that are easily made, to filing forms with the BATF, to 3D modeling. Remember, you must have an approved BATF Form-1 to make a silencer. All NFA laws apply.

Identifying Tungsten Carbide Threading Inserts

Post by Historian »

I just ran across a most interesting handbook that now sits next to Machinery's Handbook.
that may be of use to some of brethren on this site:

Engineers Black Book, 3d Edition (inches) - Pat Rapp Western Australia
Crossroad Distributor source.

Credit goes to my often visits to great YouTube machining tutorials by ABOM79.

In particular I have finally learned how to correctly identify the correct replacement
for carbide threading inserts for my tool holders.

Learning never stops.

Best
