Best anti sieze

Yes, it can be legal to make a silencer. For everything Form-1, from silencer designs that are easily made, to filing forms with the BATF, to 3D modeling. Remember, you must have an approved BATF Form-1 to make a silencer. All NFA laws apply.

I'm overwhelmed with choices.

Is one flavor of anti-sieze better than another? Looking on Amazon in addition to standard "Permatex" I see copper and nickel. Other brands also offer "silver" and "marine" grade.

Now that I have user-serviceable .22LR cans, and I spent an hour sandblasting the baffles clean on an old one, I'm going to put anti-seize on everything before reassembly.

(Actually a more experienced friend has used white lithium grease on his for thousands of shots and never had to do more than wipe things off and reapply occasionally.)

I called the can manufacturer and asked what they used. Copper, so that's what I use.

I use the Permatex. It's cheap for a big bottle at Autozone

I have Permatex nickel. Supposed to be good to 1600 or so degrees.
