My FIRST SD Cage

Yes, it can be legal to make a silencer. For everything Form-1, from silencer designs that are easily made, to filing forms with the BATF, to 3D modeling. Remember, you must have an approved BATF Form-1 to make a silencer. All NFA laws apply.

O.K. here is my FIRST HKSD Cage:

Do to a SLIGHT MEASUREMENT ERROR by someone who will remain nameless (Psycho Eric),
the tubing I ordered from Spruce was the WRONG SIZE,
so I just made this one up on 2" water pipe as a TEST. Ordered the correct SEAMLESS tubing from Aircraft Spruce and it should be here Friday.

I could, but then I'd have to kill you

But seriously, no big secret here, just gut the barrel, thread it for 1/2x28, weld on the cage, and screw on a XXX can.

Thinking about having AZDoug build me a CUSTOM .308 can with a larger first cavity, like the AR folks do, but want to build one out of steal first, then have him do it in Stainless.

Did you see the Video of our Albany Shoot??
