13.5x1mm LH Die, where can I get one

Yes, it can be legal to make a silencer. For everything Form-1, from silencer designs that are easily made, to filing forms with the BATF, to 3D modeling. Remember, you must have an approved BATF Form-1 to make a silencer. All NFA laws apply.

13.5x1mm LH Die, where can I get one

Post by James DeGroat »

I need to pick up a 13.5x1mm Left Hand die to clean up some external threads and I can't seem to locate this die.

If anyone knows where I can get one please e-mail me or post the info, as I'm needing one ASAP.

Thanks

There's a company that I special ordered one from, but it ran me nearly $90. It's cheaper to just single-point it with the bit held upside down and running the machine backwards, for me.

If you need, I'll dig up the company info. They made me a 14x1mm LH die.

You misread, I have a 14x1 LH die from them, but I assume they can make a 13.5x1mm die as well. I'll dig it up ASAP.

EDIT: I'm not finding any current info. I bought the die from a little machine shop in CT that made custom taps and dies, that information may help. Sorry. :?

Try these guys, I've had great luck with them. Not cheap but the quality rocks.
