Supressor Baffle Pics!

Yes, it can be legal to make a silencer. For everything Form-1, from silencer designs that are easily made, to filing forms with the BATF, to 3D modeling. Remember, you must have an approved BATF Form-1 to make a silencer. All NFA laws apply.

I would agree with your statement above Baffled, the endcaps are exquisite as well.

Kudos to both you guys for your efforts on developing this style core design. 8)

Not got any pictures myself & not surprised manufacturers don't give their secrets away.
I've got over 60 suppressors tested & many show the internals.
Most are for air rifles but many double up for rimfire use.
Slowly working my way through them all that I have & I also tryout some modifications.
An ongoing thing useing low power & FAC air rifles plus 22lr & HMR rimfire rifles.
If your into designing & makeing your own It just might be worth haveing a look for some ideas.

Overall exquisite craftsmanship. One of the best home-made cans ever. Very nice job!

Thanks guys! Thanks especially to Baffled--I don't think mine would have turned out all that cool if you hadn't shared your experience while I was in the middle of doing mine.

The endcap and engraving were done on a CNC mill. The core shown was done on a manual mill and lathe. Don't quite know what I was thinking there, but hey, it was fun.

This is for Iron.Maiden

Do you have the CAD/CNC files for the silencer you have pics of. Or do you have all the dimensions that somebody could put into a CAD file? Thanks

Very nice!

Are you using stock tubing? What is it? Or are you turning it down to dimension yourself?

Thanks!

Will be hard bud, those are not available in the US in plentiful.
I know some make them on a license, but mostly the Jet Z compact.

Ask Tukka in the ASE forum part.
I though think they pretty much look like the Jet-Z, and there are pics on those cut in half is you google.

Cheers

I am dead serious here. I'll give someone a dollar if they can get a good pic of Abraxas internals. I've been looking for months and I know others have asked as well. Paypal or money order, your choice!

more than likely a slanted sidewall disc. possibly spaced with cones (forming a k baffle by default). it is a wet can so this is speculation.

Would love to take your dollar but they aren't out there period. If someone wants to send one to me I will convert it for them but outside of that you will have to wait.

Like Delta said they are basic cans, very basic. They(AWC) were left behind when all the suppressor manufacturers today advanced they stayed put.

I've looked at and shot them before but I want to see what the guts really look like. I agree they are a slant baffle but I wanna see one sans tube.

they are nothing special and must be used wet to be any good (being that it is basically 1" diameter for a 9mm).
