Yes, it can be legal to make a silencer. For everything Form-1, from silencer designs that are easily made, to filing forms with the BATF, to 3D modeling. Remember, you must have an approved BATF Form-1 to make a silencer. All NFA laws apply.
We hope that you are intelligent enough to first have received official approval.
Then, the only fillip that could be offered for a carbine use is to increase the length
to 8". More volume, more expansion, more heat dissipation, etc. Of course you already
must know this from the insights on this forum.

sure i will let know results..about legality... in this country (argentina).barely u can use airguns..and just a thief have more rights than a guy who want do the stuffs right... dont think about a silencer is legal..but that is another thing--

On the second one, you don't need that big first chamber for a 22. That will only result in a FRP (First Round Pop). So if I was making this can I would put in another baffle there. But the only sure way to find out how well this design of yours will work is to try it.
the one I made was very similar to the first one you have pictured, It works great if you have access to the machinery to make it, the dimensions look good also. Someone else already mentioned that the second one has too big of an expansion chamber for a .22, I second that

I think I will do, are these cones (alu) whit a lathe ,and pieces of aluminium tube , as spacers.
I bet for a 22 rifle will work very well.
The idea is to make the silencers with 11 cones of 60 degrees.

las medidas son 30mm de largo x 30mm de diametro.
dejo una recamara al principio de 30-40mm y a continuacion pongo 5 de estos bafles.

Como ya he dicho en otro post lo mejor para un 22 es un tubo de aluminio de 35mm con una barra interior de 32mm y a esa barra redonda mecanizarla 10 camaras en "V" de 45 o 60 grados de entre 8 y 10mm de ancho y una separacion entre camaras de 2mm esto hace una longitud de 150mm en total. Hay que usar maquinaria CNC en freadopra manual tambien se puede pero es mucho mas lento y complicado en CNC mecanizar las camaras con una herramienta de 6mm puede llevar 2 horas maximo

If it's the first case, i do recommend you to use just one modeling tool (I see there at least 3 different programs). If it’s the second option (copy/paste) I do recommend you to ask that question to the design owners … and also ask for some sort of permission, you know …
We all try, at this forum, to post as much information as we can without compromising our efforts, money, time, knowhow, … (sometime jobs) and don’t like to be copied/pasted that fast and that shameless.
You can always relay on others job to improve or innovate. Always mention the source. And always share.
