Ok, I have been dilligently machining away to make the new tax stamp happy, and this is what I came up with...

The tube is titanium, 1 3/8", but turned down .030" 2/3 of the legnth. A Gem tech LID and all other parts are hard coat anodized aluminum. Machined by me. Its for 9mm. Came out a little longer than I calculated, but that dang booster adds 1" after it is screwed in.

I also have some 80A 1/4" thick polyurethane that I cut into a wipe for the end cap. That stuff seems so hard, I am affraid to shoot through it!!!! All ready with some wire pulling gel, and looking forward to testing it.

I chose cones, over K baffles for my own reasons. I bead blasted the titanium tube, and eventually will Gun Kote it flat black. I forgot to bead blast the end cap and adaptor for the LID, thats why they appear shiny.

With your skills, why did you buy the booster from Gemtech?
You should of just made one.

Nice work!

Have you shot it yet? Did you anodize the aluminum yourself or have it done?

First do not sweat the 80A durometer of the wipe as that is what KAC used on their "SNAP ON" can ie XM9 but in 1/8" thickness but 8 off them and the AWC "Hush Puppy" used 4 wipes that were 1/4" thick
Second that is very nice!! I think you are the first to do a form 1 or at least post here that machined in the ability to accept various adapters.
Curious why you decided on cones instead of K's as the K's are much more efficient.

Fixed it Delta

Ahh you are confused my friend! See when we asked for more pictures it was not a request but a demand just in a polite way.
Now break it open and show us the goods. We need to know its lenght and width (calm down you homos), # of baffles.
Remember no "K" baffle is just regular as they are all speical when in a form 1 can.
Don't make us ask again!

I agree. Time = money. Easier to buy a proven model than use time and materials making your own.
Principle of Economy of Scale.

No fun in buying off the shelf. As a kid I could buy plastic cars - but models were a lot more fun.
