htg cans are not welded and are very strong if not the strongest . i 'v seen a photo and i think they are making rifle cans serviceable , and it looks a little different from bendersquint eureka , no dead coaxial space on this photo , they changed the design here the pic

i'v studied russian cans for a while , and i think i know of what website Bender is talking about , i noticed one thing , thay do not use asymmetric baffles and frusto cone baffle is the most common baffle , i posted lots of them in the past but this is latest design and a new mount without threads . here youtube link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KF8oFaF6 ... er&list=UL

Here is a link to a colorised version of the section drawing I did for Volume 2 of of Al Paulson's Silencer History and Performance.
The image in the book is an AutoCad reproduction of a copy of one of the manufacturing prints acquired through the MOD pattern room. I took the ACAD version and colorized it using Adobe Illustrator.

100% TI, TBAC 30P-1
FYI,
There have been ~ 500 308 WIN rounds & 600 300 BLK rounds through this can.
The material on the baffle is carbon and is not eroded.

Re: Supressor Baffle Pics!
Most likely this is the best pic of SF / Ops, Inc. style baffles. It's not mine, don't know where it originated.

Re: Supressor Baffle Pics!
I do not remember where I picked up that picture. Yes, I do believe it is from a SF design but you are correct, they are fairly crude looking. Supposedly, the holes were put in the baffles to meet the mil-spec 6 second drain requirement. They would likely not help sound suppression/performance in my opinion.Mageever wrote:Interesting. What's the source for that picture?
At first I thought it was someone's Form 1 copy of the Ops Inc. baffles.
So, I did not include them in my 'copy' of that style baffle in my F1 can.
