Thanks for directing me to it. It resonates with a guy's atavistic response
to shinny metal making accompanied with delusions of competence with a lathe.

I heartily agree, clocks are great to see and imagine making but they still do not supplant
simple steel and wood, open spaces, targets, the sound of silence, and the smell of 'cordite'. [ OK. IMR powder ]

Watching those that we've elected to office, seems most can't even wash a car or order fast food correctly.
Maybe if we had a few of those inventors solving the worlds problems....things might get done.
