You can see in this picture that they lock down.
Thanks, I guess if I would've looked a little closer I would have seen that. I appreciate the input and time. They really are simple, simple is good.

Suppressor Professor,

Thanks, I keep thinking that I may need to pick one of those up to supplement the 100mm macro.

I've done work photography work with 45 or so manufacturers within the firearm community, my images have been used for catalogs, magazines, covers, etc. I have also shot work for the US Military. I am prior service and a full time LEO.

I now also shoot and write for Military Times. My primary focus will stay with weapons, accessories and related equipment reviews. Manufacturers can reach me through any of the boards. Have something new? Let me know.

Stick,
I love the 50mm, I also picked up a ring flash that works in unison with that lens. I can go anywhere in the warehouse and photo works in progress without having to lug around extra lights. It's not ideal for large stuff, but pretty darn perfect for the small stuff.
Worth the bucks...

Certainly gives good lighting. I've kicked that idea around as well, but all the ones I've seen are around 1k.

I'll keep my eye out around here. I found mine for around *$650 for the lens/lightring. * I think... I could be off with that price, but I know it was a super good deal, and I couldn't pass it up. It was used, but in perfect condition...

I know it is not the popular rage, but I like my guns in some color other than Poop.
NFA shooters blow their load with only one pull of the trigger.

What if we called it "Tactical Poop"? Then it would be ok :P

My wife had to chime in on this one, "Dude, if it were called 'Tactical Poop', I'd totally buy it!!! and I'll take a free hat too, bitch!"

I'm completely batshit crazy over the Moe rubber pistol grip. I want one of those soooooo bad. When I saw them at Shot, I was in awe. I love the Miad, but when I gripped and finger banged the rubber moe grip . . . OMG. I was in heaven.

I've got a pretty sweet Alien Bees one that my mom borrows to take pics of her jewelry. The convenience is frking awesome.

And to tie it all together, the convenience of operation of the MBUS looks frking amazing. I wanna karate chop that ish and get back in the action.

I've been shooting one for quite awhile, and they are very nice.
