Magpul SHOT Show 2009 teaser photos.
SHOT Show 2009 kicks off in just under 4 hours, so I think it's about time to start letting the cat(s) out of the bag. More information, details, specs, and photos will be coming soon, but I'll leave you with these photos for the time being. Today is going to be a long day on the show floor, so I apologize in advance if my next reply in this thread is somewhat delayed. If you happen to be in Orlando, come by the booth and check out the new gear for yourself!

Oh good lord, whining like this is what caused them to quit telling us about their projects.Deathray wrote:So what is this year's vaporware youtube mania "product" prototype going to be?
Folding .308 precision rifle that will never be built?
Belt fed kalashnikov drop in system that will never be built?
Or another neato PDW product that will never see the light of day?
Stick
I've done work photography work with 45 or so manufacturers within the firearm community, my images have been used for catalogs, magazines, covers, etc. I have also shot work for the US Military. I am prior service and a full time LEO.
I now also shoot and write for Military Times. My primary focus will stay with weapons, accessories and related equipment reviews. Manufacturers can reach me through any of the boards. Have something new? Let me know.

I find it hard to believe that anyone would use the internet to complain about things.

In order to innovate you hvae to be willing to reach. Some things you make with no chance of ever having them be commercial products. They are just made to test what you can do or to test a part or any one of a dozen other reasons that someone more versed in making stuff could come up with. I suppose you also complain that car companies have concept cars? They will never be built but design elements from them are built into future models and they increase excitement about the company. Just like the folding machine gun did.Deathray wrote:So what is this year's vaporware youtube mania "product" prototype going to be?

GREAT NEWS!!!!
Now I get to go out and sell the new Armalite AR 10 lower that I have put together for my latest build. The new Generation II magazines for that gun are imposible to find and $50 a piece .
Seriously, I save $300 every time I buy 10 mags now!
What model gun do you men suggest for a precision .308?
