Magpul SHOT Show 2009 teaser photos.

Post by NickB »

SHOT Show 2009 kicks off in just under 4 hours, so I think it's about time to start letting the cat(s) out of the bag. More information, details, specs, and photos will be coming soon, but I'll leave you with these photos for the time being. Today is going to be a long day on the show floor, so I apologize in advance if my next reply in this thread is somewhat delayed. If you happen to be in Orlando, come by the booth and check out the new gear for yourself!

The last photo is quite interesting, I hope that is a SR-25/POF/DPMS mag. If so, where do I order?
98% of the world is made up of sheep. The other 2% is divided among wolves and sheep dogs. Both are motivated to kill. The difference is, the sheep dog does it to protect the flock.

I would suspect it is a KAC pattern mag. Thats what the Massoud uses, IIRC. Hopefully we'll hear some news on that as well.

And once again, where do we order?? :D

I really hope that is a 20 round SR-25/DPMS Mag!

Some AK mags would be nice too!

Any Updates?

I wish I was there, it looks like a lot of fun.

It's a Knight's/POF/DPMS mag. They're scattered all over the show with everyone's new .308 rifles. (Larue, LWRC and I've seen them other places, I just can't remember). Retail was like $20.00 with a release date of ?April, 2009? I'll be ordering a bunch when I can.

Sweet!
Hopefully they stay $20 in this market.
The Pmags i have seen have gone up in price, courtesy of Obambi, the gun salesman of the year.

So what is this year's vaporware youtube mania "product" prototype going to be?

Folding .308 precision rifle that will never be built?

Belt fed kalashnikov drop in system that will never be built?

Or another neato PDW product that will never see the light of day?

Oh good lord, whining like this is what caused them to quit telling us about their projects.

What good is a project that will never be sold?

I've done work photography work with 45 or so manufacturers within the firearm community, my images have been used for catalogs, magazines, covers, etc. I have also shot work for the US Military. I am prior service and a full time LEO.

I now also shoot and write for Military Times. My primary focus will stay with weapons, accessories and related equipment reviews. Manufacturers can reach me through any of the boards. Have something new? Let me know.

I find it hard to believe that anyone would use the internet to complain about things.

Nice thanks for the pics guys.

I will definitly be buying atleast 15 of the 7.62x51 mags in april then.

Cant wait. Keep up the good work. You guys make excellent products.(even if we cant get our hands on them all yet)

How about the ambi sling attachment point for the ar-15. When is it coming out? The ASP I think its called. I saw a youtube video on that. Sick!

Thanks again, You guys are truly an innovative, original thinking company. Keep up the hard work, we all appreciate it.

In order to innovate you hvae to be willing to reach. Some things you make with no chance of ever having them be commercial products. They are just made to test what you can do or to test a part or any one of a dozen other reasons that someone more versed in making stuff could come up with. I suppose you also complain that car companies have concept cars? They will never be built but design elements from them are built into future models and they increase excitement about the company. Just like the folding machine gun did.

GREAT NEWS!!!!

Now I get to go out and sell the new Armalite AR 10 lower that I have put together for my latest build. The new Generation II magazines for that gun are imposible to find and $50 a piece  .

Seriously, I save $300 every time I buy 10 mags now!

What model gun do you men suggest for a precision .308?
