Pmag Impact Dust Cover Question

Post by mropus69 »

Okay, been back through most of the posts on here concerning the Pmag, and did a search but couldn't find an answer to my question about the Impact Dust Cover. Thought I had read something before about this but can't find it on the MAGPUL website either. Of the 16 20rd and 30rd Pmags I own, three of the dust covers for the Pmags will not remain snapped on the mag when I have 10, 20 or 30rds loaded in them. I did read that there is no problem with the feedlips bending, but didn't want to risk crap getting into my mags when I have them out. Is there a safe way to mold the covers catch lip inward a little so they will hold. Was thinking hot water or a sand heater like they use on old plastic glasses frames to bend them might work. Definatly not going to use a flame on them. Anyone else have this problem and find a fix for it? In my books it is to small of a part to bother Magpul about..... Thanks
