my biggest was a 6lb 9oz wallie that we got pics of, and the damn store lost the film. but recently i had a catch that was equally as unique. the smallest fish i have ever caught on the largest bait. size to size ratio, it was rather silly for this crappie to be so greedy.

Last Tuesday - 25lb kingfish, measured 45". Making smoked kingfish spread today! Also limited out on red grouper - 12-14 pounders for all four of us on the boat. An amberjack last year was probably larger, but we never put it to a scale or measuring tape, just the smoker...

The biggest fish I've ever caught were around 200-250 lbs, a couple of blue marlin in Venezuela. Just under that I've caught several yellowfin tuna at or above 150 lbs, and a handful around 100.
Most recent impressive catch was this neat little fish:

Hopkins, Belize. It was a VERY fun trip and I am itching to go for them again. All my life I'd read about catching bonefish and never got the chance until then, when my wife and I decided to go fishing in Belize for our honeymoon.

Kind of wondered if that might be Belize. Belize has a ton of bonefish but none that are really of any size. There are a few cayes off of Placencia where there are schools that number in the thousands of them.

Yeah, I'd like to eventually go after big ones, but I'll gladly take any trip of any kind to go after them. Bonefish of any size are satisfying, and for me I'm really into catching more of them than purely going after one or two big ones a day. But it's going to be a while before we make another trip, got too many things to pay for first. New sidearms, AR and AK build or two, probably moving to a new place in a year or so, rebuild my photography biz, fix my car...geez life is expensive.

7pound 9 ounce, 30.75 inch walley I caught at a lake just up the highway from my house here in Tulsa, OK. (summer of 2009)
I've done lots of fishing in south america, and mexico, don't have any access to the pics at the moment though. some really nice dorado and wahoo.

Not the biggest I've caught but the most stubborn. Didn't have any intention of killing it but it died in the fight....fish tacos for everyone:

I caught a really big Yellow Cat once. Didn't weight the fish but we took a picture and the picture weighed 2 pounds.

Freshwater - 15lb Striped Bass
Saltwater - 21lb? Amberjack
Fishing is great fun. Crappie are undoubtedly some of the best eating fish in the world! I have some Snaps I need to cook from our last trip to the coast.
