My fa556 is locked on my muzzle brake and i cant get it loose! I got the lockri g off but cant get the actual can to budge. This is after running a Magpul class so its got lots of rounds through it!
Any ideas on how to get it off???

go shoot it fast and take it off when it's hot. Use gloves.

So just shoot it... Get it hot andbit should break the bond? Its on there rock solid.... Im assuming the heat will expand the metals and break it loose?

yes. but lock it back down first. you dont want to shoot it down range. Been there, done that, s--t my pants. It wasnt a surefire but I managed to not damage the suppressor at all.

Can also soak it in penetrating oil.
Try keeping the mating surfaces oiled in the future if you want.

had to use the emergency procedure prescribed by surefire to get it off... undid the lockring and shot it off.... went about 20 feet into the grass.
