What are the differences between the existing 7.62K model and the new SOCOM 7.62 RC? I have read about the mounts - so that is not what i am asking about. Are there any differences between the cans themselves? DBs? Size? Weight? Materials? Still good for .300WM?

I got my answer on another board and I personally will likely wait until the 7.62RC becomes available and then look for a deal on a 7.62K. Sounds like the current mounts will be supported for some time - but yes, in time will be phased out (no timeline was given).

We were told they "should" ship at the end of the year. Obviously they are filling .Mil contracts now
