Just a quick question...
Has anyone been able to suppress a GSG STG-44 yet? Not sure if it is even possible because the barrel is covered by the front sight block and is recessed fairly deep within the aesthetic covering. Seems like it would be a fun project but would require some significant surgery to get at the barrel for threading.
Thanks

I was thinking the same thing. I love the look and feel but I have trouble justifying a .22LR I can't mount a suppressor on and it seems it would not be easy with this one.

It will take a significant surgery to suppress based on the one I looked at for this very reason!

Not so hard. Made to do that from the factory.

Of course you will want to check alignment before shooting, .22lr silencer looks small on this rifle anyway, I think a 9mm sized one would look better.
The thread adapter is a factory available part. http://www.americantactical.us/212/detail.html

NFA shooters blow their load with only one pull of the trigger.

Cool, like I said I didn't get to tear it apart to see that it was a simply muzzle thread replacement.David Hineline wrote:Not so hard. Made to do that from the factory.

Can't find this part on ATI website anymore.
Anyone knows what's the model# or where to buy this thread adapter?
