.458 socom build need port size for pistol length gas.

I have been looking through the 458 socom pages and have not found a best port size for a 16" barrel using pistol length gas and 300gr std loads any help would be appreciated.
The only reason after 243 years the government now wants to disarm you is they intend to do something you would shoot them for!

Per Marty, pistol location, .125" diameter will get you the best flexbility with all loads. We were talking about a 12" barrel, though.
