Cool running AR-15 handguard?

Post by ThaDoubleJ »

Starting to build my .458 Socom, and it'll need a handguard. Probably looking for something around 10", big enough inside to fit my D tube form 1 that I may or may not build someday, and I'd like it to stay pretty cool should I ever get around to building that can. Don't need a full length rail, only thing I'll attach is probably a forward vertical grip at some point. It'll be a dirt-shootin' range toy, don't need KAC stuff or any broken banks, but I'm OK paying for a good piece. Thanks all.
Proper grammar is awesome.

I'm really liking my BCM Keymod rail, very solid and VERY lightweight, plus, looks cool

Not sure if D cell would fit inside though
