I think the title pretty much says it all. I'm looking for a current production 45ACP long gun that suppresses well. And please don't tell me a Hi Point.

I have a Kriss vector SBR that I run with an old tirant 45 that I like.

HK USC to UMP conversion. Not cheap but a ton of fun to shoot. (yes you can still get them)

What about a 45 upper? Is that an option?

Edit. I have a 357 mag upper that's nice. Yes, 357 magnum.

Yes, .45ACP AR uppers are an option. Macon Armory makes them (and at least 1 other outfit). You'll need a magwell block adapter or a dedicated .45ACP lower as well since they are typically fed by USC or M3 magazines.

QC10 just came out with an AR lower using .45 Glock mags. I have the 9mm version, top shelf!

Are you looking for best suppression or a repeater?

My thoughts would be something like a T/C Contender or Encore

Or if you can find one the Special Interest Arms - Enfield Conversion

Performance wise it really dosnt matter. Everything is subsonic and no action to cycle. I'd pick a handguard and go barely past that for best balance.

If you can afford a B&T why even consider a Hi-Point. What is your budget and goals?

Rhineland Arms makes a .45 mauser conversion. My kit is in the mail hopefully...

How about an Uzi? Old tech,overweight but it's available in 45.

Without knowing what you really want to do with the 45 carbine, it's hard to really make suggestions that aren't a stab in the dark.
