Best 45ACP Rifle/Carbine to suppress?

I think the title pretty much says it all. I'm looking for a current production 45ACP long gun that suppresses well. And please don't tell me a Hi Point.

Yes, .45ACP AR uppers are an option. Macon Armory makes them (and at least 1 other outfit). You'll need a magwell block adapter or a dedicated .45ACP lower as well since they are typically fed by USC or M3 magazines.Liver wrote:What about a 45 upper? Is that an option?
QC10 just came out with an AR lower using .45 Glock mags. I have the 9mm version, top shelf!Fulliautomatix wrote:Yes, .45ACP AR uppers are an option. Performance wise it really dosnt matter. Everything is subsonic and no action to cycle. I'd pick a handguard and go barely past that for best balance.OtterBob wrote:I'm looking to SBR my encore Pro Hunter in 45acp. Any suggestions on barrel length?
Rudy at Macon Armory does his blowback or direct impingement.Fulliautomatix wrote:Yes, .45ACP AR uppers are an option. Macon Armory makes them (and at least 1 other outfit). Yup, I got my up & running this past weekend. (Actually just added the suppressor, the SBR runs fine as-is)ohnomrbillk wrote:Rudy at Macon Armory does his blowback or direct impingement.Fulliautomatix wrote:Yes, .45ACP AR uppers are an option. I have a DI, and it's the coolest thing since sliced bread.
If you can afford a B&T why even consider a Hi-Point. What is your budget and goals?G_S wrote:I have been looking at all the options for a 45 rifle to SBR
