I have a Volquartsen 17hmr and was wondering what suppressor you guys are using with it. Since the ammo has an actual copper jacket I was thinking any .223 can would work?????

I would not do that, it's still a rimfire and will leave a lot of carbon behind, with will fill your suppressor up shortly. Use a take a part can like the Spectre.
Shot my Spectre for the first time this past weekend on my Marlin 17V. Both my brother and I were amazed at the level of sound reduction. It was a pleasure to shoot without hearing protection.
This pic was taken before I had the barrel threaded.
I've been down the .17 road and won't own another one, but my SRT "Commanche" has .17/.22 Rimfire engraved into the tube. (It came with a take-down wrench and cleaning instructions.)
Jacketed bullet + the small charge of fast burnng (ball?) powder should make for longer interval between cleanings.
Don't concern yourself that much about the supersonic "crack!" as I believe ti sounds more like a broken stick than a gunshot, and the sound won't carry as far nor be as alarming to game/varmints as an unmuffled gunshot in the same caliber.
Mr. Burns: This anonymous clan of slack-jawed troglodytes has cost me the election, and yet if I were to have them killed, I would be the one to go to jail. That's democracy for you.
Smithers: You are noble and poetic in defeat, sir.
