AWC Ultra II CZ Varmit

Post by vanman2004b »

I am trying to pick my first can. I saw an AWC Ultra II CZ Varmit today but did not hear it fired. I have been trying to decide between an integral and a screw on can. I had just about decided to get a screw on when I saw the CZ. I was planning on getting a CZ to use with the screw on and would probably not use it on anything else unless I just had to have a 10/22. So i guess my main question is how does the AWC Ultra II CZ compare to some of the other available integral models? My other worry is cleaning as it can not be disassembled.

Although leading is the nemesis of the .22LR, an integrally suppressed rifle will give you about 100K rounds of service before you need to have it cleaned/rebuild by the manufacturer. Generally speaking, the suppressor portion may well outlive your barrel.
If you like the rifle, go for it. The real benefit of having a screw on can is that you can use it on different platforms from rifles to pistols. YMMV.

I have a perfect body. It's in the trunk and starting to stink.
