I wound up with the Larue PredatAR 16".
It finally made it and i've not gotten my hands on it yet.

While being one of the guys in the USMC that happen to be involved in the maintenance of said rifles. The mk11 was recalled to be replaced with the m110. I only had one problem with a mk11 while in country. It seems that the guys like shooting with a suppressor. Every round fired was fired suppressed from that gun. After 5k rounds the suppressor was shot out. When the can goes back to Quantico, so does the gun. The m110 suites are pretty nice.

While having a dpms from darrel at d9firearms.com, I am very happy with. If money was not an option I would pick up a knights, along with every other piece of hardware they produce.

its based on the m-14 mag not the real ar-10 mag ....Armalite has many troubles of the who's what's made what where's ? kac are way over priced and raping the government and civilians ,Q/C is NOT best but more like smoke and mirrors -like a beautiful model in front of a pile of horse crap ,see it's great !! find the book called ''misfire'' to understand what scandals happen in the arms trade ,oh yes this has cost many of lives........

This is most likely due to that fact that MARINES don't keep their weapons clean........

The MK11 Mod0 is a precision tool and like any precision tool it must be well maintained to get the most out of it.

Keep all of your weapons clean.

and remember the MARINE CORP. is part of the NAVY

note ...give it to the MARINES, it will be broken ....it needs to be MARINE proof... ! i seen this first hand !!!

My buddy is a Scout-Sniper Plt. Commander (S-2) and former enlisted 03, himself, and just told me all the KACs in the platoon were taken out of service indefinitely for reliability problems.
