Cz 452-2E American with Nikon Pro Staff 4x32 RimFire Classic Riflescope and 22Sparrow

After zeroing with 36gr high velocity without the 22Sparrow on, I installed it and shot two 5 shot strings with Winchester and CCI 40gr subsonic.

Both of the groups POI were right of zero. The CCI grouped better than the Winchester.

I'll try Remington and Fiocchi subsonic next to see how they group.

I like the looks of that.

I've got my remington 591 that seems to only really like high velocity unfortunately. subsonics seem to group about 2 MOA @50 yards, but high velocity group about .5 MOA

I guess i need to try some more ammo

But again I am jealous of that setup. I sure do like the CZ americans

thanks guys :)

Briggs, my Sheridan pellet gun is louder than this...If you block out the noise of the bullet striking the target it, to me it sounds about as loud as a Daisy Red Ryder.

Nice setup.

At what range were those groups shot?

Thanks DJ

I had a small window yesterday (time wise) to go and try and zero it as this was my first time to shoot it with scope installed. I went to my hunting lease and used the shooting range there. They have 4 berms set up and t-post with chicken wire stretched across each one...I placed my target at the first berm and stepped it back to the shooting house 30 of my steps (6'4")

Went over to my parents today for Easter and had to bring the "pellet gun" to show my brother. Videoed a 5 shot string...setup a cardboard box in front of a dirt pile about 25 yards away...this time with Remington subsonics and zero was same as without the suppressor.

Again, the loudest sound you hear is that lead slug hitting the cardboard. :D

I didn't really notice until a friend pointed it out but he said you can tell it's pretty quiet when the birds in the background don't miss a note after the shooting starts. 8)

That looks really nice, should be picking up my savage this week from the smith. It should be a law that every .22 come threaded.

Nice setup. Looks kinda familiar:

Mine is wearing a TAC65 suppressor.

How do you like that Sparrow? I've heard good things about it and SilencerCo.

Hi Irelander, yes I seen yours before I ordered mine....helped me make up my mind :) Very nice.

I was able to demo the Sparrow at the East Texas Silencer Expo last year and that experience is what sold me. I love it and so far it's the most used can I own. :D

A YoDave trigger kit has been ordered...hope to tighten up the groups a bit more.

Just a fun rifle to shoot.
